Scripture: Psalm 2
- Insurrection: Kings deal with insurrection. In the eyesight of God, our insurrection is our sinfulness and us turning from him to ungodly counsel.
- Installation: Many times, God, our King, installs an earthly representation of himself because of our insurrection. New leaders are here to be change agents.
- Inheritance: Our King gives his earthly representation of himself an inheritance. We can move from insurrectionists to heirs and joint-heirs.
- Instruction: The Psalmist gives us instructions that we must serve the Lord our king or suffer the consequences.
